Teacher Certification
The VMI Teacher Certification Program is part of a consortium of teacher-certification programs designed to provide highly trained, licensed teachers. The consortium is sponsored by the teacher-certification program at Mary Baldwin College and includes Mary Baldwin, VMI, and Washington and Lee.
Through the consortium, cadets may complete the courses they need to: 1) obtain licensure in the state of Virginia, 2) work toward licensure in another state, or 3) gain credentials for teaching in private secondary schools.
