To allow the Physical Plant to better support your work request and your events with a better quality service and more detail we ask that the form below be completed.  The Physical Plant will no longer accept phoned in work requests for routine work orders and event support.

To report an emergency such as water or power outages, please contact Physical Plant Customer Service direct at 463-7357.  After hours emergencies may be reported by calling the Physical Plant on call/standby phone at 570-0501. 

All normal requests are allotted 30 days to be completed.  However, it is our goal to honor your request as soon as possible.  After hours and on weekends, repairs may be requested by calling VMI Police at 463-9177.

     Supply Department 
    For shipping inquiries, please call 464-7121 

    Surplus Items (Must complete Disposition Form First) The owning department must contact the Surplus Property Officer in the Purchasing Office
    This is done by completing a Disposition of Equipment Form. The Surplus Property Officer will notify the Supply Department of the Physical Plant.  If the equipment is being transferred between departments, please complete a Transfer/Replacement Form and forward it directly to the Comptroller's Office.

    Key Request 
    Please read General Order 56 and complete form. Once form is completed, submit your
    request. The original must be turned in to the Physical Plant.  You will be notified when your key may be picked up at the Physical Plant.

         Name/Door Plate 
        Please call Armory at 464-7305. When the requested plate has been received, submit a repair/maintenance request for installation.
