Work Orders

For your convenience, and to insure prompt and maximum satisfaction, two methods of placing work orders are offered:

  • Phone: The Production Control at the Physical Plant records and responds to all phone messages relating to work orders –

    Ph: 464-7357 during working hours 7:30 A.M. – 4:00 P.M., Monday through Friday.

     
  • Email: You may now electronically fill out and send your own work order by using the form below. Click the link or email our help-desk at physicalplant@vmi.edu.

After hours and on weekends, repairs may be requested by calling VMI police at 463-9177.

As the Physical Plant currently handles well over 5,000 work orders annually, we ask that all work requests be sent no more than 45 days prior to the requested completion date.  This will help ensure that all requests are handled as efficiently as possible.
