The Barracks
The VMI Barracks is vastly different from any dorm or fraternity house that may be found at other colleges.
Cadets live in modest conditions with the essentials provided, but are warned that they will have multiple roommates, a small amount of storage space, and be required to keep everything neat and in order every day. The VMI Barracks is central to a cadet’s life at VMI and provides cadets with many things besides housing.
