There are a myriad of ways to support Career Services at VMI:

  • Continue to refer cadets to Career Services  
  • Encourage your cadets to set up a profile on KeydetConnect  
  • Contact our office if you would like to register on KeydetConnect   
  • Let us get involved with your cadets 
    • Invite us to speak in your classes about career related resources 
    • Invite a Career Services staff member to talk with your advisees 
    • Invite Career Services to your departmental meeting to share information about occupational trends in your discipline 
  • Compile a list of alumni directly related to your discipline 
  • Collect information about internships related to your major  
  • Refer employers to Career Services 
  • Refer guest speakers with employment opportunities to Career Services 
  • Attend employer Information Sessions on Post 
  • Include information about Career Services in your mailings 
  • Encourage your alumni to become a VMI Alumni Mentor
