2011-09-30, 1120 hours - External Internet Outage
1430 hours - Update: The network administrator has spoken to our Internet Service Provider (CenturyLink). They confirmed that the problem is between Lexington and Charlottesville, possibly a cut in the fiber optic line. CenturyLink is working to resolve the problem, but could not give us an estimated time of repair.

Information Technology is currently experiencing a problem with our Internet connection. The network administrator is working with the vendor to resolve the problem as quickly as possible. This outage will affect all inbound email sent from off Post addresses as well as all outbound email to off Post addresses. Email messages sent to and from cadets will also not be delivered or received until the connection has been restored.
