Welcome to the Department of Financial Aid at VMI. The purpose of the VMI financial aid program is to provide monetary assistance to cadets, who without such aid, would be unable to attend; and to provide aid to cadets with superior abilities. Our goal is to provide responsible and courteous service while complying with all Federal, State, and VMI policies. We look forward to working with you!

Beginning this year, all VMI Financial Aid award letters can be viewed on-line through your PostView account. You are given a PostView account when you apply to VMI.
Be sure to activate this great tool for all of your application and financial aid information! Visit our website regularly for updates.

For the academic year of 2008-2009, all new
and returning cadets must complete two important forms in order to receive Financial Aid from VMI.
• The VMI Financial Aid Application
• The FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid)
Keep up with your FAFSA PIN. It is good for all four years of FAFSA applications.
