Cadets Learn Language, Culture in Japan

Four VMI cadets, Noah L.W. Scribner ’09, Jonathan H. Fanelli ’10, Edward C. Burton ’10, and Leah-Hao Wu ’10, returned recently from VMI’s third summer program in Kanazawa, Japan, a city located about 300 miles west of Tokyo.

Col. James E. Turner ’65, VMI professor of biology/chemistry and director of undergraduate research, has recently published a research article in the journal Brain Research. Co-authors on the paper were six of Turner’s undergraduate researchers.

VMI Theatre to Present Summer Revue

The VMI Theatre will present Characters! Characters! Wednesdays through Fridays, July 9-11 and 16-18, at 7:30 p.m. in Nichols Auditorium at VMI. The play is a revue featuring glimpses of memorable characters from literature, folklore, theatre and music.
