2009-07-02, 1700 hours - Network Authentication Issues A number of Post computers were infected earlier this week with a variant of the Conflicker Worm. The Worm attaches itself to a host computer, spreads to other computers, and manifests itself by simulating an attempted logon using existing accounts. The logon attempts have the effect of a user attempting to log on many times with the wrong password. After a specified number of attempts the account locks for approximately ten minutes.
