Assistant Professor of English – Literature (tenure-track)

The Virginia Military Institute Department of English, Rhetoric, and Humanistic Studies is seeking applications for a tenure-track assistant professor with professional expertise in British or American literature and a secondary interest in rhetoric and composition, beginning August 2018.  The incumbent will teach three courses per semester, including freshman and upper-level courses in an interdisciplinary English major with a central focus on rhetoric. Ph.D. by August 2018 required.
