This agreement will be available at download, installation, or purchase of hardware preloaded with the software. All information must be entered below and agreeded upon to use the Microsoft Campus Agreement software.
Microsoft Windows Operating system and Office Suite hereafter referred to as software.
Software is made available to you because The Virginia Military Institute has purchased license coverage for the Software through Microsoft Campus Agreement Subscription Student Option. VMI is extending to you the right to use the Software on a personally-owned computer or an institution-owned computer designated for your exclusive use. You do not own the license, nor are you authorized to install the software on more than one computer; rather you are authorized to use the Software and any associated media pursuant to the terms and conditions of the license(s) granted to VMI for the term of the Campus Agreement Subscription.
You will be required to remove the Software from your personal machine immediately upon the earlier of (a) any event, with the exception of graduation, which causes you no longer to be a student of VMI or b) expiration of the Campus Agreement Subscription term.
If you graduate from VMI during the agreement period, the Software license will convert to a perpetual license (meaning you own the Software) as verified in your Student License Confirmation. The document is proof of Software ownership. You will need to obtain this license before leaving the Institute at graduation time.
You are granted the right to use the following Software per the terms of the Campus Agreement Subscription Student Option:
- Windows Desktop Operating System Upgrades (Windows XP)
- Office 2010 Professional Edition, which includes:
- Word
- Excel
- PowerPoint
- Access
- Outlook
