2013 Dates & Information

ATTENTION:  The Post View Summer Session Registration Link may be unavailable during the metered Fall Pre-Registration timeframe beginning April 1 and ending April 6.  If you need assistance enrolling in summer session courses during this timeframe please report to the Summer Session Office, 303 Shell Hall. 

 Summer Session I:  21 May - 21 June 

  • 1 March -- Application deadline for Study Abroad programs
  • 15 March -- Payment deadline for Study Abroad programs
  • 17 May --All fees for 1st term are due by 1500 hours 
  • 21 May -- Classes begin
  • 22 May -- Last day for late registration and to drop/add courses
  • 27 May -- Memorial Day --NO CLASSES 
  • 10 June -- Last day to withdraw with a "W"
  • 14 June -- Last day to withdraw with a "W" or "WF"
  • 19 June -- Last day of classes
  • 20-21 June -- Exams 

 Summer Session II:  24 June - 25 July 

  • 21 June -- All fees for 2nd term are due by 1500 hours 
  • 24 June -- Classes begin
  • 25 June -- Last day for late registration and to drop/add courses
  • 4 July -- Independence Day observance--NO CLASSES 
  • 15 July -- Last day to withdraw with a "W"
  • 19 July -- Last day to withdraw with a "W" or "WF"
  • 23 July -- Last day of classes
  • 24-25 July -- Exams

VMI will not bill parents or students.  VMI accepts payments for Summer School tuition and fees by cash, check, Echeck, or credit card (MasterCard, Discovery, and American Express only).  If a credit card is used a 2.25% convenience fee will be assessed.  All fees for the 1st term must be paid by 1500 hours on 17 May.  All fees for the 2nd term must be paid by 1500 hours on 21 June.
