Transferring from the Virginia Community College System (VCCS)
Preferential treatment with regard to admission is awarded to transfer students from the Virginia Community College System (VCCS) who have completed an associate’s degree.
In order to ensure transferability of credit and a timely graduation, students are encouraged to select courses from the following VCCS curriculum equivalencies. Courses listed are VCCS equivalents and correspond to the curriculum and general education requirements for the first two years of their respective VMI academic program. Transfer students are also encouraged to review information in our catalogue regarding courses that may be taken for elective credit. This information can then be cross-referenced with the VCCS COURSE EQUIVALENCIES to determine which courses to take.
