Cadet Field Training
United States Military Academy at West Point, NY and Camp Buckner NY
- Eight-week POI executed by the United States Military Academy to develop the leadership skills of MSII year completed cadets. Seven weeks of CFT will be at Camp Buckner, with one week at Ft Knox, KY for Mounted Maneuver Training (MMT).
- CFT consists of basic skill level training ending with maneuver Light Training where the cadets train on how to defend and attack an opposing force.
- Cadets must pass Land Navigation, APFT, Cadet Field Training PCT-I tasks, Water Obstacle Course, Mounted Maneuver Training (MMT), complete Maneuver Light Training, and quality with the M-16 rifle to graduate successfully.
