Career Path 

Mr. Campbell graduated from Lexington High School in Lexington, VA in June 1974. He entered the Active Duty military in July 1974 where he served for approximately 5 years 7 months working in a variety of personnel/administrative areas and also in the U.S. Military Postal Service. His assignments included Andrews Air Force Base, Maryland and Clark Air Base, Phillipines. He joined the Virginia Army National Guard in December 1987 and retired from the Reserve Component on 1 August 2005 at the rank of Master Sergeant after serving a total of over 24-1/2 years. Mr. Campbell joined the Virginia Military Institute's Army ROTC Program in March 1997 where he serves as a Human Resources Assistant.

Personal 

Mr. Campbell has one son, Joshua, and they reside in Lexington.
