Graduation Requirements

1. GPA and Grade Requirements for Graduation 

1. GPA of 2.00 in all courses taken at VMI
2. GPA of 2.00 in all EC/BU taken at VMI
3. A minimum grade of C in EN 101, EN 102, MA 118, MA 121, EC 201, EC 202, EC 203, EC 300, EC 304, EC 330, BU 210, BU 220, BU 230, BU 310, BU440
4. Total hours equal 136 hours

II.    Curriculum Requirements for Graduation

1. General Education Requirements
   EN101 (with a minimum grade of C), EN102 (with a minimum grade of C), HI103, HI104, CH131, CH111 (lab), CH132, CH112 (lab), SE300, MA118, MA121

2. Liberal Arts Requirements
   2 EN/FA electives, 2 HI electives, 1 PO elective, 1 PH/PS elective
   Demonstrated competency if a foreign language equivalent to an Intermediate II-level

3. VMI Requirements
   PE101, PE102, PE200, PE201, PE211, 3 PE Electives (not including PE 330)
   R.O.T.C. (including R.O.T.C. or LS labs) for eight semester
   2 writing-intensive classes (at least one of which must be within the Economics and Business Department)

4. Economics and Business Core Classes
   EC201, EC202, EC203, EC300, EC304, EC330, BU210, BU220, BU230, BU310, BU440 (ALL EC/BU Core courses must be taken at VMI.)

5. Economics and Business Electives
   4 Economics Electives (EC405 for those cadets electing the Financial Management Concentration [FMC])
   4 Business electives (BU314, BU411, BU415, and either BU305, BU412 for those Cadets electing the Financial Management Concentration)
