Ultimate
Ultimate Frisbee is a fast pace game that requires a player to play from end to end of the field. Due to other responsibilities, the Ultimate Club practices at VMI only three times a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday) for about an hour and a half each day.
Due to the young age of the club, the team is still building its skills and competes against local schools. The Ultimate Club has a fun time and allows you to forget the constant rigors of school for a couple hours.

RESULTS
VMI Ultimate started off its season with a solid 6th place finish at the Radford University “Rumble Por el Río” on November 7th and 8th. The team started off the tournament with tough losses to the eventual winner, Virginia Tech, and to a team of Radford Alumni, but in the third game, the team came together and fought for its first victory of the year, against Radford. VMI started strong and jumped out to the lead, and never looked back for a convincing 13-4 win. On Sunday, VMI had a chance to avenge Saturday’s loss to Virginia Tech, and the Keydets jumped out to a 3-2 lead before the Hokies took over and took the game by a margin of 15-5. VMI finished off the tournament with a strong 15-9 win against UNC-Greensboro. All Keydets were in on the scoring, but Captain and CIC Bradley Chamberlain led the way with 8 assists, and Venissat led the way with 7 goals.
