WHAT:  

• Usually 6-12 weeks in a career related interest
• Typically involves completion of one set project
• May carry academic credit
• May be paid and unpaid

WHY: 

• Test career interests
• Prove your abilities
• Develop skills
• Relate coursework to workworld
• Experience new environments

WHO: 

• Cadets in any major

WHEN: 

• The best time is the summer after either your thirdclass or secondclass year. There are also internships available during the academic year.

WHERE:

HOW: 

• Speak to a professor in your major field and to Career Services
• For a summer internship, begin the search process in October.
