Studies in American Culture 

Studies in American Culture is an annual publication featuring scholarship on all aspects of American culture and from all scholarly and critical approaches. We are especially interested in interdisciplinary studies of the literature, language, visual arts, and history of the United States.

Studies in American Culture is a publication of the Popular Culture Association in the South and American Culture Association in the South, which meet jointly in a conference each fall. PCAS/ACAS is the largest of the regional popular and American studies associations, with a collegial and dedicated membership of nearly 400 scholars and interested others from across the nation. Membership in the association includes subscriptions to SiAC and our other journal, Studies in Popular Culture.
