LEXINGTON, Va. Aug. 2, 2023 — Maj. Molly Kent, assistant professor of biology at Virginia Military Institute, will be featured on the public radio program, With Good Reason starting Saturday, Aug. 5 through Friday, Aug. 11.  

On the episode, entitled “Terrapins and Terriers,” Kent discusses research she and cadets have conducted regarding stress levels found in wild city rats compared to levels found in wild country rats. Others featured on the show, highlighting their research on various animals, include Randy Chambers from William & Mary, Robert Arrowood of University of Virginia at Wise, and Tara Pelletier from Radford University.
