It allows cadets to meet with employers and recruiters face to face and ask questions about opportunities. CHALLENGE is a job fair held each year in November. CHALLENGE is an award winning career fair designed to bring juniors, seniors and recent graduates together with representatives from various companies and agencies. It is an effective way for employers to meet and recruit students from 8 prestigious Virginia colleges/universities.
- DIVERSITY CAREER DAY Students from all colleges and universities across Virginia and Washington, DC are welcome to attend. Last year, more than 150 corporations, government agencies, and non-profit organizations participated. Many recruiters have specifically indicated that they like this event because they have the opportunity to meet students from so many different schools.
- CAREER PREMIERE is another career fair opportunity held each spring for VMI cadets to attend. Eight schools support this fair and have given an open invitation for us to attend.
- SOUTHERN TEACHERS FAIR. The Southern Teachers Agency (STA) hosts an annual teacher recruitment fair in Charlottesville so that private school teachers can find the best teaching vacancies.
