Ambassador Siwela is currently Ambassador of Zambia to the United States. She has previously served as Ambassador for her country to Belgium, the Netherlands, the EU, and Zimbabwe.
She has worked in two international organizations; UNDP/ILO and the Eastern & Southern African Management Institute as a Human Resources, Gender, Leadership Skills and Personal Development expert respectively.
Her Excellency is the founder and lead consultant of the Motivational Centre for Africa's Transformation (MOCAT).
Special recognition was given to Ambassador Siwela from the Centre for Peace Initiatives in Africa as an Eminent Person and she was nominated by the Government of Zambia for the Post of Depty Chair of the African Union. The Ambassador served as Board Member of YWCA, Zambia, the University Teaching Hospital, Zambia and the Gender Advisory Group, COMESA. The Ambassador has the distinct honour of being an Elder in the Presbyterian Church in Zambia. She is a renowned international motivational speaker with focus on women, youth and the private sector as well as published author of several works.
