All PCs have Intel Core I 5-2400, 3.10GHz processors, 8 GB memory, 500 GB hard-drive, DVD-RW, Network Intel Gigabit Network Card, C-Media Sound Card.
All PCs have Office 2010, Windows Media Player, Real Player, and Quicktime Player.
Sanako System
Provides communication between the master computer and the 24 Work stations. Via the master computer the instructor can monitor a student computer (audio and computer screen), answer a student’s help call. The system allows students to listen to an audio program and record their own voices via headsets and watch a video on their computer monitor
The Language Media Center owns its own media server, Mahone. All digitized files reside on Mahone and are backed up daily.
