Charles S. Luck IV ‘83
Mr. Luck is a civil engineering graduate in the Class of 1983. He currently serves as President and CEO of Luck Stone, Inc., a position he has held since 2000. Headquartered in Manakin-Sabot, Virginia and employing more than 1,100 people, Luck Stone is best known for providing construction aggregates and decorative stone, but it also has interests in commercial real estate and tennis court products. In April 2011, he was honored as the University of Richmond’s Robins School of Business' Executive of the Year (2011). Mr. Luck is active in civic affairs in Virginia, involved with such institutions as the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, St. Christopher School, and the YMCA. Mr. Luck also raced stock cars for several years, including his time at VMI. His son, Richard S. Luck ’12, is the vice president of his class.
