Dr. Reshef Agam-Segal completed his D.Phil (Ph.D) in philosophy at the University of Oxford, UK. Born and raised in Israel, he moved to the US in 2008. He taught philosophy at Auburn University in Alabama before joining VMI at 2012. Dr. Agam-Segal specializes in the philosophy of Wittgenstein, and in moral philosophy, and has special interests in the logic of figurative language, and the relations between philosophy and literature. He has published papers in several professional international journals, including ‘Philosophy,’ ‘Metaphilosophy,’ and ‘Journal for the History of Analytical Philosophy.’
