Undergraduate Research

The Undergraduate Research Symposium (URS) is one of the main programs started by the Undergraduate Research Initiative (URI) in an effort to encourage cadets to learn by conducting scholarly inquiry under the guidance of a faculty advisor. The event showcases the conclusions of cadets' research in all disciplines.

The results of this research are presented in the form of both posters (informal demonstrations) and papers (more formal short lectures) as part of a special day of events. A total of $5,000 in cash prizes is divided evenly between science, engineering, and liberal arts.
