Joseph L. Argenzio was born in New York City in 1927. He entered the Army in 1944 and following training was assigned to the First Infantry Division, 3rd Battalion, 16th Infantry, "M" Co. On D-Day, at age 16, he was part of the first wave at Omaha Beach. Argenzio subsequently saw combat in France, Belgium and Germany, and participated in the liberation of Falkenau concentration camp in Czechoslovakia. This interview covers his service in World War II.
