My Dear Sister,
Good news, I have been elected Professor of "Natural & Experimental Philosophy" in the "Virginia Military Institute" and you may expect me home in the latter part of June.
Your Bro.
P.S. I am recovering from a recent attack of sickness and owing to the weakness of my eyes do not like to write myself.
