Colonel Stewart W. Husted, The John and Jane Roberts Chair of Free Enterprise Business, has recently written a book, George C. Marshall: Rubrics of Leadership. The 11 chapter book discusses the characteristics of successful leaders and gives hundreds of examples from Marshall’s life to illustrate key leadership rubrics.
Colonel Husted’s book was published in December 2006 by the Army War College and distributed by Stackpole Books. The 264 page book is available in hardback ($23.95) in bookstores and on-line at Barnes & Noble, Books-a-Million, and Amazon. All royalties from the book are donated to the Fisher House Foundation to assist families of wounded veterans.
Col. Husted, who teaches the Business Leadership & the Classics elective, will be the subject of a feature interview story about George C. Marshall in the May/June issue of WWII magazine.
