Changing Passwords

Passwords should be maintained by using the Self Service Password (SSP) package. Faculty and Staff not enrolled in Self Service Password who require password assistance must report to the Help Desk located in 315 Nichols Engineering with a photo ID.  Cadets not enrolled in Self Service Password who require password assistance must report to the Barracks Help Desk located in Room C-11B with a photo ID.

If you have not previously enrolled or are off Post please follow the instructions below:

  1. Report to the Help Desk located at 315 Nichols Engineering and bring your photo identification.
  2. Mail a photocopy of your driver's license, your present complete mailing address, your phone #, your UserID, 3 choices for the new password (make sure they are valid and you have not used them before), and your signature. If any information is not included the password will not be changed. You will be contacted by telephone when a password has been determined.

  3. These methods are the only alternatives available. Do not call the IT office to request a password change unless you are experiencing a problem with SSP. The Help Desk will answer questions over the phone, but your password cannot be changed without the proper verification/documentation.
