Colonel Baker teaches courses in computer architecture, operating systems, algorithms, parallel computing, and programming in Java, C++, and C.

Research 

Colonel Baker’s research interests include parallel and high-performance computing, computer architecture, computer graphics, and video game development. His research lab in 318 Mallory Hall includes a high-performance computer cluster built from 8 Sony Playstation3’s running the Linux operating system and capable of up to 1 TFlop/s.
