Course Description

This course is a survey of the strategic concepts and operational tools often used in operations management.

The topics are organized into four categories: creating value through operations, establishing the operations environment, establishing supply chain linkages and planning and controlling operations.

The objectives for this course are:

• Comprehend issues facing operations managers and decision-making tools to address these issues.
• Understand the impact of operations on businesses.
