Prof Tinni Sen is a native of Kitwe, Zambia and Kolkata, India. She moved to Rockbridge County in 1998 and has lived and worked here ever since. She has been a member of the VMI faculty since 2001. Apart from being in the company of her two daughters and two cats, she is happiest when working at building a beloved community, whether through her scholarship, her teaching, or her work in her community.
