Dr. Jung joined the faculty at the Virginia Military Institute (VMI) in 2018. He previously served as an assistant professor at Youngstown State University and held significant research positions as a post-doctoral research fellow at Virginia Tech and a research associate at the University of Waterloo. His work in these roles was instrumental in developing trenchless technologies and establishing a sustainable infrastructure knowledge database for underground systems. He earned his Ph.D. in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Cornell University. Dr. Jung is a licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.).
