TSgt Lance E. Ryans is Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge and ROTC Instructor at Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps Detachment 880. He serves as the Detachment Key Enlisted Leader and as the primary enlisted advisor to the Commander on cadet academics, military training, and discipline. He supports the cadet lifecycle management and completes actions for contracting, commissioning, Extended Active Duty, AFROTC field training and other events.

TSgt Ryans entered the Air Force March 2013 through Basic Training at Lackland Air Force Base, TX. He completed technical training at Lackland Air Force Base, TX as a Security Forces apprentice in August 2013. He has 13 years of active-duty experience. Following his third duty assignment, TSgt Ryans retrained into Education and Training in August 2020. Prior to his current position, TSgt Ryans was a Training Manager for 87th Medical Group at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, NJ.

TSgt Ryans completed his second deployment April 2018 as a Force Protection Intelligence Analyst and Investigator for the 332d Air Expeditionary Wing supporting OPERATION INHERENT RESOLVE.
