VMI is among the very few colleges that offer ROTC options in Army, Naby, Marine Corps, Air Force, and Space Force.
The Naval ROTC Unit provides two programs in which cadets may enroll: US Navy or US Marine Corps.
Cadets can prepare for other roles in government, intelligence, cyber defense, and public safety, both at the state and federal level.
VMI boasts the largest ROTC program in the country and an award-winning Ranger Challenge Team.
The Air Force ROTC program prepares cadets for service in the U.S. Air Force or U.S. Space Force air, space, and cyberspace domains.
