VMI Alumni Agencies is seeking a dedicated Stewardship Administrative Assistant to provide essential administrative support for stewardship initiatives, donor communications, reporting, events, and office operations. This part-time position offers the potential to transition into a full-time role for the right candidate.
About the Role
The Stewardship Administrative Assistant plays an important role in supporting the daily operations of the stewardship team by ensuring the timely execution of mailings, reports, data management, and event preparation activities. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, professionalism, the ability to manage multiple priorities while contributing to a team-oriented workplace, and a positive philosophy when working through customer service issues. Anticipated pay is $22-26/hour.
What You’ll Do
· Arrive ready to work within a highly active organization, dedicated to achieving results in a positive way.
· Coordinate donor communications, processing high-quality mailings.
· Prepare, review, and distribute reports with accuracy.
· Maintain donor and administrative records through data entry with attention to detail.
· Support events, donor stewardship, engagement activities, and special projects.
· Serve as a friendly and responsive resource for alumni, donors, volunteers, and guests.
· Your typical week fills 20 hours of support and contribution with some weekends.
What You Bring
· Associate’s degree or equivalent combination of administrative experience and education
· 2+ years of administrative, office support, or data-focused experience (required)
· Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills
· Ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously while meeting deadlines
· Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
· Ability to receive direction, exercise good judgment, and take initiative
· Strong interpersonal and professional customer service skills
· Ability to work effectively both independently and within a collaborative team environment
· Demonstrated reliability, professionalism, and commitment to maintaining confidentiality
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat
