LEXINGTON, Va. Sept. 16, 2024 — Detachment 880 AS400 cadets have recently received their Air Force Specialty Codes (AFSC), determining the career fields they will enter upon commissioning. This milestone represents the culmination of their dedicated efforts throughout their cadetship. Cadets were selected for 11 different career fields including two Space Force selects. Overall, 77% of cadets received one of their top three choices for jobs. Each cadet’s AFSC assignment aligns with their unique skills and interests, setting the stage for a successful and impactful career in the U.S. Air Force. We congratulate our cadets on this significant achievement and eagerly anticipate the contributions they will make as they step into their new roles.
