They received my undergraduate degree from Sweet Briar College where I majored in biology and minored in chemistry. While there they participated in research focused on the impact of MACF1 suppression on the proliferative and differential capacity of HGSOC. They completed their masters at Johns Hopkins University studying biotechnology with a focus on biodefense. They teach introductory biology for non-majors (BI101 and BI102) where they have the privilege of introducing cadets from a wide variety of backgrounds to fundamental biological concepts. Their goal is to help each of their students find some part of science to get excited about!
