Please use the address information below to make sure your letter(s) and/or package(s) gets to VMI:

This format must be used to ensure proper handling by the United States Postal Service (USPS) as packages are routed to VMI. The address format will be required for shipping regardless of carrier: USPS, UPS, FedEX, and more.

Note: The only item after the names is the cadet box number:

Example: John Smith # 23

Double check format:

Ensure the VMI BOX # and address are correct.
PO Box 1839 is a required part of the address.

Please do not address cadet packages to any academic or athletic buildings – they will not be delivered and will be returned by the Lexington Post Office.

Tips & Reminders:

Use the same address as defined above for all mail and packages regardless of carrier.
Do not send cash.
Do not send perishable items.
Cadets receive an email when a package arrives.
Cadets may only sign/pick-up their own packages.
