Jose J. Suarez, M.Eng., P.E., is the President and CEO of JS Consulting. Prior to staring JS Consulting, he had a distinguished career in the Engineering and Construction industry. 

During his Engineering and Construction (E&C) career, he  progressed in the E&C business from design engineer, to President and CEO of a major division of a major global company, where he managed over $ 2.0 Billion in business, and over 5,000 personnel around the world. He has worked in all continents. 

He is a sought out expert around the world, on green energy, the air pollution control industry, the mining, and the resources industries, process improvement, logistics, engineering and construction industries, total quality management, and manufacturing.

He graduated with a bachelor’s of science degree in civil engineering from Virginia Military Institute (1982), and a Masters of Science degree in engineering management from The University of Kansas (1999). 

After graduating from VMI, he served in the U.S. Navy, as an officer, for seven years.

He has served in numerous Boards in Canada, and around the world.

He has received the following awards:
