We are seeking one or more highly motivated candidate(s), interested in cybersecurity research and education, particularly, AI applied to cybersecurity and cybersecurity education research, for a DoD-funded position as a postdoctoral fellow or a visiting faculty to join the team of the newly formed Cyber Defense Laboratory (CyDef). This position will focus on research and development of an evolutionary career-education platform on a cyber-Physical System (CPS) foundation, but will also provide opportunities to work on emerging problems of interest in cybersecurity research and education.
- PhD degree in computer science, cyber security, software engineering or a related field
- Experience in AI-based problem solving
- Experience in predictive modeling using machine learning techniques
- Track record of research and publications
- Experience in analyzing large data sets, be proficient in at least one of the statistical programming languages R/Matlab/Python and have experience working on Unix/Linux systems and basic shell scripting
- Proof of US Citizenship or permanent residency
Salary based on qualifications and experience.
This is a full-time position with competitive salary and benefits package.
This position is fully funded by a grant for the first year, and may be extended based on securing additional funds.
This position is expected to be performed on-site.
