Adjunct Faculty - (PT) - Principles of Microeconomics and/or Macroeconomics

The Department of Economics and Business (ECBU) at Virginia Military Institute (VMI) is seeking an adjunct faculty member to teach principles of microeconomics and/or principles of macroeconomics. Instruction will occur in-person on campus in Lexington, VA.

ECBU is a collegial, teaching-oriented department where faculty deliver rigorous coursework appropriate for students pursuing a generalized undergraduate degree in business and economics. We offer small classes and emphasize building a rapport with our students.

Minimum Qualifications:

Qualified candidates must satisfy AACSB requirements for Scholarly Academics (SA), Practice Academics (PA), Scholarly Practitioners (SP) or Instructional Practitioners (IP). These requirements are generally satisfied through a combination of scholarly activities, professional activities, and/or current professional employment in economics. Candidates must also have at least a Master’s degree in Economics.

Preferred Qualifications:

Preferred candidates will have teaching experience.
