Deke is a principal financial advisor for CAPTRUST, providing advice to high-net-worth individuals, families, corporations, and endowments. His wealth management career spans more than 30 years. Prior to joining CAPTRUST, he founded New Market Wealth, and, early in his career, he was the youngest institutional sales manager at Sanford Bernstein.

After graduating from VMI with a degree in economics, he earned a master’s degree in operations management from University of Arkansas. He severed several terms as a trustee with the VMI Foundation.
