The Liberty Hall Volunteers by W. G. Bean

The Liberty Hall Volunteers tells the story of the Washington College (now Washington and Lee University) students that formed a military company at the outbreak of the Civil War in June 1861. The company was assigned to the Fourth Virginia Infantry Regiment, which was part of the famed Stonewall Brigade commanded by General Jackson.

Originally published in 1964, this new edition was published in 2004 with photographs and an introduction by Robert K. Krick. Paperback, 227 pages.
